Why Sexual Harassment Prevention trainings?

Smart employers, schools, and other educational institutes recognize that effective sexual harassment training is an important part of creating a workplace or campus that is safe for everyone. Many organizations are experiencing a rise in harassment complaints and strong training, whether legally required or not, is necessary to address harassment in the workplace or campus. Sexual harassment training serves many purposes:

Education: Educate your employees and students as to what is sexual harassment, how to identify it, how to report it.

Compliance with laws: The law in this areas is rapidly changing and employers and educational institutes must contemplate new or revised sexual harassment prevention trainings to remain in compliance with the laws.

Risk Mitigation: Mandatory and regular anti-harassment trainings is an effective way to keep your employees and students safe from harassment. A proof of regular trainings will also play in favor of the employer in case the matter goes to the court.

Save in litigation cost: More educated employees and students, lesser the incidents of harassment. Good effective and regular training will save the employer or the School in litigation cost.

Preserve reputation: With new and refresher trainings for all staff, teachers, and students, the harassment incidents will be reduced. The wide spread knowledge of reporting procedures through the training will also help the employer or the School to be informed in a timely manner and take the right steps and to avoid damage to reputation.
