LLB (Hons) - university of london
LLB (Hons) from University of London is a Qualifying Law Degree which means our graduates are directly eligible to undertake the vocational stage to become a Barrister with the Bar of England & Wales. After the University of London LLB (Hons), our students complete a 9 month Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at one of the top ranking universities in the UK or take 9 month Bar Transfer Course at Blackstone School of Law (Lahore campus or online). After successful completion of their exams, they become entitled to the title of “Barrister”. Please note: The local Pakistani 5-year LLB is NOT a Qualifying Law Degree. The graduates of local Pakistani LLB are not eligible to undertake Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) in the UK to become a Barrister. Whereas, the University of London LLB (Hons) makes the candidates directly eligible to undertake BPTC to become a Barrister.
BSc Business Administration - university of london
Blackstone School of Law & Business offers a recognized University of London BSc Business Administration 3-year program Students who do not have two A-Level passes or have an Intermediate (FA/FSc) can also qualify for the BSc Business Administration degree 4-year program through the foundation route. Academic direction for this program is provided by Royal Holloway, University of London.
You will be awarded a degree from the University of London featuring the University of London crest and the Vice-Chancellor's signature. The final BSc Business Administration degree in Pakistan you will obtain from the University of London through Blackstone School of Law & Business will not contain the word external or international on it. You will have the option to attend the Graduation Ceremony in London.
Bar Transfer Course (BTC) in Pakistan
Blackstone School of Law & Business takes pride in successfully preparing Barristers in Pakistan. Our Bar Transfer Course is a 18 months - 24 months programme where lawyers and law graduates undertake preparatory classes at Blackstone and appear for their exams in the UK to become Barristers. One of the hallmarks of our Bar Transfer Course is our outstanding faculty who are all Barristers themselves.
Stages of Bar Transfer Course include Classes for all four subjects at Blackstone School of Law, application for exemptions from Bar Standard Board (UK), Membership with the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, undertaking exams in the UK, and finally, Call to the Bar. All external and local law lawyers are eligible for this course.
LLM - University of London
Blackstone School of Law & Business offers a recognized Master of Laws (LLM) Programmes through the University of London with a specialization in Commerical and Corporate Law. The LLM also allows students to gain a post-graduate diploma in International Dispute Resolution in addition to their LLM degree. The postgraduate diploma in International Dispute Resolution will make students eligible to become Members of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. This will facilitate their journey to deal with local and International clients through the Chartered Institute of Arbitrator.
Education through Google Classroom
We are the only institution in Pakistan that provides higher education through Google classroom. We have flipped the classroom, put the student at the center of their learning to enhance their critical thinking skills. The role of the faculty is to inspire students through multi layered questions. We have broken the spell of passive learning by mandating students to conduct research everyday. Our classrooms also leverage the traditional wisdom of education by incorporating small Socratic groups. Career launch with Law Clinic
At Blackstone students are taught critical competencies required in the legal field through the Law Clinic. Students are given access to real life cases. As part of their field work they are required to complete 4 Mini-pupillages with leading Barristers and Advocates in Pakistan. Students draft, do research, conduct client interviews, and go to Lower and High court to file cases. Students are also taught how to network through a series of events during their academic year where they meet with leading Barristers in the UK and Pakistan.
